Expired but otherwise valid ID should be accepted for voting in VA

I live in a senior retirement community in northern VA.  Many of my fellow residents no longer drive for reasons of health, especially declining eyesight, and unwillingness to confront the traffic situation in this county. They have sensibly chosen to give up their cars.  While some of us have other forms of ID (military, passports), others do not.  Will the state choose to make these seniors lose their right to vote, just because they no longer own/drive a car? We all pay taxes!  Are we going to revert to taxation without representation in the Old Dominion, as in DC?

Are our representatives and senators going to permit this injustice to occur?
