We are active Virginia voters and strongly suppoort the current definition of "valid".  Proposed changes are part of the current GOP effort across the country to suppress and discourage voting if it represents any threat to their candidates.  We are offended by this pressure to restrict voting and see it as an undermining of basic American values for petty political ends.  We have voted for Republican candidates when they represent our values.  We will resist and reject candidates who cannot accept the normal processes and the possibility of losing an election.
