Abortion Clinics - Priposed Regulations

Thank you for having the courage to propose these regulations! I urge you to continue this process and adopt these regulations to help minimize the risk to women undergoing abortions. It is sad enough that the life (lives) of the unborn afe being terminated without these, the most defenseless in our society, having a voice in the matted. Nevertheless, these regulations are about the other important person - the mother, the one who is in a severe crisis while making this decision. Though I do not agree with her decision, nevertheless, I do not wish fod two (or more) lives to suffer. She will have to endure emotional and perhaps physical trauma as a result of the abortion. She should NOT have to undergo, or fear, more medical problems from poor conditions, sanitation, or other care. She has a right to expect treatment at least equivalent to what she would receive in ANY other medical facility. IF the horrors that were NEWS today about the Dental practice in Oklahoma did not have the stringent regulations they did, we might NOT be hearing about the dental practice being closed. Rather, we could be hearing about the illnesses and/or deaths of up to 7,000 - the number of affected patients of that clinic. What if those conditions existed within an abortion clinic in Virginia? Virginia might well have been the national news headliner today (or tomorrow)! PLEASE don't allow this to happen! Shoa that we care about the quality of health care for the women of the Commonwealth. Lastly, please be wary of ghe motives of any who oppose your move to enact and implement these regulations. I cannot help but wonder if their objections have the safety and health of the women who enter as their first and highest priority! Thank You!
