I am a young woman, who had an abortion not too long ago.  October 12, 2012, to be exact.  And I am more than greatful for my ability to do so.  After breaking up with the guy I was dating on January 24, 2013, he turned very violent.  These chemical imbalences in his own brain started to come through in his actions.  I was very disappointed to see him acting out, and I know that some of those issues would have been something I would have dealt with in a child, if I were to have had one.  One day, before I went to class (I'm a Junior at VCU) he cut himself in front of me, then whipped my hands on his blood, during an argument.  I don't mean to shock y'all, but it was a very intense experience.  The opportunity to have an abortion should be legal.  A woman should have the choice.  That doesn't mean, "Let's kill all the future babies!"  It just means, let's think about the possibilities of consequence.
