I strongly object to the attempt by politicians to attach the regulations in question to women's health centers that provide safe and legal abortions.  

These regulations do the opposite of providing safety.  They endanger women by placing an undue and unrealistic financial burden on both the centers and on the women, who seek abortions in the first trimester of their pregnancies.  

The point of these regulations is not the safety of women and everyone knows this. The regulations are meant to shrink to nothing places where women can get safe and legal abortions with the belief that this will stop abortions from happening.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Abortions have always occurred and will continue. So what regulations like this do is push women to seek illegal and unsafe abortions, putting their health and lives at risk.  I know.  Before abortions were legal  two of my high school classmates died as a result of illegal abortions. They were 16 years old.  Do NOT approve these regulations, please!
