General Cuccinelli's ideological stance attacks the interests and rights of women to control their own bodies. His threat to the Board of Health that his office would not defend them if they refused to impose the new and deliberately destructive certification requirements and were subsequently sued is pure political thuggery. Planned Parenthood is primarily a cheap source of contraception and medical care for women who can't otherwise afford it. Abortion is never a procedure of choice, and Cuccinelli's attempts to deprive women of access to contraception and then persecute them and drive them back to the old furtive and dangerous backstreet abortionists - while rich women go to a clinic in the country - is cruel and regressive. Stop this drive to push Virginia's women into Third World conditions!
