Unlike what many people believe, women's health clinics provide more than just abortive and contraceptive services. They also provide gynecological care and STD testing (among other health maintence services). These services are normally prohibitively expensive for both uninsured and low-income females, yet they are also absolutely necessary for overall well-being. By shutting down these clinics with laws that aren't medically necessary for their function properly will only spell disaster for the health of many women later down the road.
