These sorts of efforts to regulate morals are still, after hundreds of years bible thumping, going to be unsuccessful.  Desperate women, ostrasized by religious bigotry, will seek illegal means to terminate their pregnancies and they wil notl be supported by the fathers of their unwanted babies.  These "fathers" want sex without the consequences.  Is this a new idea for you?

You are missing the boat, my friends.  Approach the problem of unwanted pregnancies with prevention and education. Casual sexual intercourse is increasing and the parents are not prepared to be parents.  Worse, the mothers may not know who the father is and how often does the father step up to assume responsibility for his actions.

All of this costs you and me money to process and support the steady flow of parentless babies. Look at your own records. Sex among young people will not go away no matter how much you legislate.  If you are not concerned about the health and welfare of our young people, at least look at the monetary cost.
