It is obvious to me that this is a thinly veiled attempt to manipulate women's health and their access to safe, LEGAL abortions which are constitutional.  Please do not cave to the politics of a group of mostly men who seem determined to control women and the most personal aspects oftheir lives.  To do so ignores approximately 50% of the population, and relegates us to the status of having no control over what happens to us.  Since the General Assembly has less than a handful of senators and delegates to represent each woman in our state, we are powerless to have collective clout against the good ole boys and their mindset of 17th century society.  Not one of them has ever been pregnant.  Not one of them has ever given birth.  Not one of them has had his life threatened by a pregnancy.  Not one of them has been pregnant as a result of rape or incest.  Empathy is a strong motivator, but the will to control can override it.  That is what has happened in Virginia.  Do not be pressured into giving women the existence of farm animals.  We deserve respect, courtesy, understanding, and advocacy from all of you.
