Health regulations for abortion clinics

I believe abortion clinics should have the same procedures and requirements as hospitals because of the routine invasive procedures and surgeries that they perform. I don't understand why that hasn't always been the case. And we should also expect the patient to fully informed about the surgery that would be performed on them, including possible mental and physical side effects, along with a picture (ultrasound) of the fetus that would be removed. Aren't these current medical practices for any type of operation, especially one that could result in permanent injury or even death? And these comments do not even broach the significant moral and spiritual implications of an abortion, as it seems that we have abandoned more than one of the tenants of the hyprocratic oath. With regards.
