I am so saddened to hear the recent news regarding my son’s EDCD waiver service facilitators being removed in the near future. We count on this support to navigate a very complex and quite frankly,  broken system. I do not understand why you would take a system that works and replace it with chaos. That is what you will get. Children will be neglected and they will not receive the care they need. These service facilitators build relationships and help in times of need, it’s more than just a job description. The new way isn’t always better.
