Hi. My name is Lila Mumford. I felt so happy and excited when I visited Vanguard Landing for the first time. Everyone I met was very friendly and very sweet. It made me feel like I belonged there.
The cottages have room for lots of us to live together but have our own space too. I'm very outgoing and social. I love to put smiles on other people's faces. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. It is one of my favorite things to do.
Right now, I live with my mom and dad. I have two brothers who get to go to college. They get to do what they want. I wish I could do what I want like them. I can't drive so unless an adult is with me I can't go anywhere. I am bored sitting at my house. Im sad sometimes.
If I can live at Vanguard Landing, I can make my own choices about what I do, what I eat and will have lots of people to hang out with. I will have roommates so I won't be lonely and there will always be something to do.
I want Vanguard Landing to be my home. My family and friends can visit me to see my room and meet my roommates. But I need my waiver to move there. My birthday is coming up and that would be an amazing bday present if I found out that I could move there now!
