Please oppose this harmful petition. This was brought by people seeking to overturn the Virginia Values Act and deny trans people their civil rights. There are no women in danger from participation in sports. I have played coed sports with women and men of all shapes and sizes for years. The idea that a trans person is somehow so different from others that they can't play is an insidious attack that seeks only to marginalize and restrict the rights of a protected class. Furthermore, this petition is illegal on its face. It violates the VA Values Act of 2021 by creating separate rules for people based on their gender. Please oppose this hateful nonsense.
