Increasing the renewal cost for nursing licensure would be an additional financial strain on nurses in the Commonwealth. Many of which have not had a cost of living adjustment in years, who have to pay for not only the rising cost of living but requirements for their jobs such as scrubs, shoes, continuing education credits. Raising the cost of renewal would add an additional financial hardship to those who just a few years ago were deemed "heros".
