I completely reject the notion that abortion is health care because it ends lives, rather than healing them. Pregnancy is NOT a disease. However, as long as the abortion industries operates it must be required to adhere to common sense safety standards. Appropriate equipment should be on hand, infection control measures in place as well as clear written policies and building guidelines enforced.
This is a no brainer no matter where you stand on abortion - if you are prochoice and want to have an abortion, why on earth wouldn't you want these standards in place?
Let's not let a Gosnell house of horrors happen in Virginia!
