Virginia is a leader in so many ways, but we do not need to lead backwards. I was proud that our state was so forward thinking when we put RGGI in place. We need clean air to breathe. We need to be responsible to our children and their children for the world we leave them.

To purposely take away safeguards for our people and our environment solely for political gain is a travesty. To repeal the RGGI isn't even legal. I really don't want to have to contribute money for a challenge in the courts, but I will support such an effort if necessary. Let's keep our state going forward, not backward.
