I support withdrawing from the RGGI. Participation in the program is a recipe for disaster for our energy security. Its premise is that renewable energy can replace fossil fuels without any significant problems. This is a false assumption. The technology to realize that goal is not available. If we were to remain in the program we will see our energy system become increasingly unreliable and more costly. I urge you to remove Virginia from the RGGI.
