I agree with and support governor Youngkin…“Virginia’s participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) risks contributing to the increased cost of electricity for our citizens.” I do not believe that participation in the RGGI program is in the best interest of Virginians. Among those who study climate and its related sciences, there is not universal agreement supporting the need for such initiatives  Programs such as these always seem to be more of a power grab by government entities than they are a genuine desire to preserve resources. They also place unnecessary constraints on citizens and businesses. I do not want Virginia to be a part of this program.
