Keep Virginia in the RGGI to protect our kids' future

Keep Virginia in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. First, it's the law, and the law applies to the governor and his administration just as it does to the rest of us.  Second, it works; it results in reduced greenhouse gas emissions.  Third, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and thus reducing climate change, is necessary to avoid passing on environmental catastrophe to our kids and the generations that would come after them.  Fourth, the administration's attempt to end Virginia's RGGI participation is a gift to special interests (particularly fossil fuel interests) and science-denying ideologues who enable those interests.  Human-caused climate change is a reality that's extensively demonstrated by sound science.  And our state government's actions should be based on reality, not fantasies. They should be based on protecting our kids' futures, not on favoring special interests.
