I can add nothing that hasn't already been clearly stated in the great majority of the preceeding comments. The legalistic-indeed, Byzantine debate about what is or is not a "material" omission is either an example of the rediculous non-sensical extremes beurocrats will go to make work to justify their positions, or it is a cynical effort to disenfrnachise a portion of the electorate by nit-picking about palsied signatures, crossing t's and dotting i's, or whether acommonly-used nick name can be recognized. Where is the common sense? We need more participation in the electoral process, not less.
