Please do not pass this legislation.  All children need a mother and a father. Period!  We should never compromise our core beliefs just to satisfy a few or to be politically correct..  Our nation was founded on Christian/Judaic principles which has stood the test of time.  It is the children who will suffer in the long run.  Please do not do this to our children.
