Please do not discriminate against faith-based organizations, and by extension, children who desperately need a loving home. I have to say that I can not believe the wording of this regulation:
"[Private adoption agencies] shall prohibit acts of discrimination based on . . . sexual orientation, disability or family status to:
1. Delay or deny a child's placement; or
2. Deny an individual the opportunity to apply to become a foster or adoptive parent."
So the state is now telling private faith-based adoption agencies what they can and cannot do in terms of their own deeply held, time-honored sexual morality? Our founding Virginia fathers must be rolling in their graves.
