It is a disservice to remove student access to these resources. Simply taking books away doesn't mean the topic itself disappears. Students are better prepared to live with themselves and others when challenged to look at perspectives different than what may be considered mainstream, and offered solutions to consider for living peacefully and successfully with different lifestyles.
