As citizens (taxpayers) of Virginia and as parents of children in the public school our input on the public school curriculum is not only very important, but our right to do so.  

I am opposed to sexually explicit information being shown or handed out to our school children except for a basic health anatomy class beginning at grade 5 or 6.
 
I believe what is deemed appropriate probably varies from family to family, so let parents have the responsibility of teaching their children what they want them to know…when they want them to know it.

In my opinion, parents need to be made aware of the content of any material deemed sexually explicit or any teaching materials of a sexual nature being shown or handed out.

Instructors/counselors  should not be coaching our children as to lifestyle choices or providing contraceptives or recommending abortions.

Since our instructors work hard it is my hope that parents will support our instructors and our instructors will support the parents.
