These model policies are both too broad and restrictive. They will have a dangerous and silencing effect on our schools, teachers, and students. Teachers will have to tiptoe over what they teach because the definitions of "explicit material" are too broad and target homosexuals, which means that they may choose innocuous pablum for our students rather than material that will challenge them to think and learn. 

No to these policies.
