Mandating ANY Covid Vaccine

To Whom It May Concern,

The Virginia Department of Health, State Board of Health, must NOT mandate the Covid vaccine for all school employees and students in the state of Virginia. Such a mandate would be directly contrary to the beliefs of many, MANY voting Virginia residents!!!  Moreover, practical reason makes evident that a vaccination is not, as a general matter of course, also a moral obligation.  Ergo, it MUST be voluntary.

For those whose consciences tell them that they should not - or MUST not - take the vaccine - for whatever reason they have -  a mandate is a clear violation of their religious liberty and other freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America.  Moreover, the contemplated action of the State appears also to directly impinge on the authority of parents to make medical decisions on behalf of their very own children!  Such a course of action is utterly frightening!  Moreover, it will not be tolerated….

In conclusion, and as you are certainly aware, many MANY of your constituents are watching carefully what our elected “officials” are doing.  And we are watching you very closely.

Very truly yours,
