I oppose the mandate because vaccine mandates reduce the pressure on pharmaceutical companies to do further research into safer and more efficacious products.  Additionally it is a conflict of interest for the entity that mandates a product be the same entity that decides on wether or not to pay for harm associated with the product (the federal government).  The WHO advises against conflict of interest in order to reduce vaccine hesitancy.  Instead of mandating vaccines work on reducing COI and leverage the sales interest of pharmaceutical companies to want to produce better products in order to benefit human health.
