NO VACCINE REQUIREMENTS

I wholeheartedly object to the concept of forced vaccination of students and staff. Some proponents of mandatory vaccines in schools point to the fact that other vaccines are already required. But this is NOT AN APPLES TO APPLES COMPARISON.

  • Let’s drill down on why nearly ALL parents are perfectly OK with those other vaccines being required for public school – so why is this one different?
  • The other vaccines mentioned have a decades-long history of safety and efficacy data, covid vaccine does not *it doesn’t mean it’s not safe*, but you can’t blame people for having valid concerns
  • I think the right approach is to educate people on what we DO know about how the covid vaccine saves lives, BUT we also need to LISTEN to citizens (which is the job of public officials) instead imposing heavy-handed mandates
  • And where is the conversation about natural immunity anyway? For Dr. Fauci to say on CNN “… that is something we need to sit down and discuss” (referring to natural immunity) – 18 months into the pandemic? Really? How has this basic scientific concept not come up yet in “discussions”??

As I write this, there are already over 600 responses and it appears that nearly all of them are anti-mandate. But here’s my guess… you won’t care. You will do whatever you want no matter what. I hope I’m wrong but based on what I’ve seen at the local and state levels, the voice of the people seems to be irrelevant to bureaucrats and power-tripping officials.
