What if, one time, the app overpays me?
 

I am a DCW, since EVV started in Virginia, using the app, my pay has been delayed and shorted hours. My "employer of record" and I have spent hours on the phone with his "financial management corporation" trying to straighten out the weird time entries that the app makes.  Many people in need will lose their direct care workers over this frustration.  So far, the app has made it look like I was trying to double, triple, and even quadruple bill for the hours I worked.  The app clocks me out and back in at random times.  Sometimes the app clocks me back in in the middle of my shift, or the GPS says we are not at our service location, even though we are!  I fear that the app is setting me up to look like I am committing fraud, though I am not.  So far, the app has shorted my hours, so I am getting paid for about 8 hours less every pay period.  What if, one time, the app overpays me?  If I cash that check!!!  BOOM! Fraud.  I don't like that the app can change the hours that I clock in and out, especially after my EOR has approved those hours and we are within our service plan!
