This is Elaine. When realizing I would not have a caregiver all day yesterday, I planned ahead the night before and had the caregiver find a cooler and put food in it so I had something to eat. I have a pressure sore I am trying to heal. In spite of spending lots of time in bed,  I am taking classes to go back to work. Being in one position for hours on end causes additional sores and good nutrition is essential in healing. I have had increasing problems since September finding and keeping caregivers because of EVV. At only $9.40 and hour, no benefits, and now expected to waste space on their smart phone to be tracked, no one wants the job.  My  health cannot improve with the current conditions.
