This regulation makes absolutely no sense to any rational thinking person.  But since the whole purpose of this administration is to make it possible for the irrational to profit, it makes since to the govoner.  The data doesn't backup any of the methods of gun control.  What is at stake is control itself - or better self-control.  A communist may think that this a good idea, i.e. turning the government into the rulers instead of the servants.  It would be good to remember that an armed society is a polite society.  Just because the goivoner doesn't trust himself with a firearm only shows his lack of self-control and self-esteme.
