The fundamental rights of property are life and liberty: both the property of the individual. The state has no moral or lawful power to restrict the individual's right to defend his property, whether in his home or in the halls of an agency of the Commonwealth.
Statists, such as the current governor and an elitist cabal of legislators and bureaucrats, wish to instead use legal means and Royal diktats to enforce their narcissistic delusions of power and superiority while relegating the unarmed 'serfs' to the 'safe havens of gun-free zones'.
If the 'elect' were engaged in lawful activities, instead of confiscatory taxation and regulation, perverting justice, and generally abusing the powers entrusted them, they would have little to fear from the people they serve.
True public servants would applaud the real security of a civil-ized society where thousands of armed citizens would be ever ready to help defend those they respect and have entrusted to govern.
The militarized police state we see emerging in our Commonwealth and nation is not born of government's desire to protect the people from criminal elements. Instead, it is a manifestation of Royalty's fear of honest men and women. The relentless attempts by elements of the ruling class to disarm Virginians bear witness to the fact.
Repeal restrictions on Virginian's right to carry, openly or concealed.
