State Agency Gun Ban

I was born and raised in Virginia and was a citizen of the Commonwealth for 60 years. During that time there was never an incident in a state agency building involving someone with a Concealed Handgun Permit. In fact, data shows that CHP holders are the most Law-Abiding citizens in Virginia. Now, the Governor has decided that there is an issue that must be addressed, for no valid reason, to prevent a possible lawless act that would not be stopped by "Just Another Law". Now, the governor does not have the constitutional right to ban guns in state agency buildings. In fact, the General Assembly passed legislation, in both the House and Senate, that clarified any ambiguity in this matter. However, the Governor vetoed the voice of the people. This is nothing more than payback for a political debt to those that effectively put this man in office. As usual, this is yet another example of "A Solution in Search of a Problem". I am totally opposed to this pending legislation and sincerely hope that the "Will of the People" will prevail.
