As a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia, it is my duty to inform you that I strongly oppose this regulation. This regulation is nothing more than an unneeded solution to a non-existent problem. Furthermore, this regulation increases conditions where law abiding citizens are prohibited from protecting themselves. I will continue to oppose this regulation (and vote accordingly) until someone can prove to me what crimes would have been thwarted if this regulation had already been in effect.
