You are taking this arbitrary and capricious action against citizens who have taken the initiative to get their backgrounds checked, get training, and identify themselves to the government.  It will do nothing to the criminals who carry guns, as you well know but haven’t the integrity to admit.  You are increasing the likelihood of violence at the hands of those criminals.
