Terry Mcauliffe Moves to Enable Kill Zones, and Make Citizens Sitting Ducks

This uncostitutional, dangerous  and doomed proposed gun control should have every Virginian on edge as it does. You are proposing legislation (of which you have no authority) that endangers the lives of the very people you are sworn to protect in two very shameful manners.

1. You are creating gun free kill zones which have proven to be a failure for gun violence. All gun free zones are a target for terrorist and murderers who wish to kill people in volume. This has been seen time and time again your state seeing one of the worst "Gun Free Zone" killings in US history.

- Virginia Tech, Gun Free Zone- 33 Dead, 15 Wounded

How many deaths do you want to be responsible for? Killers and terrorists do not abide by the laws nor will they stop because a sign says "No Guns"

I propose for a vote that you as an anti gun proponent give up your armed detail. You are not more important than the people of your state and should live by the same rules you wish to enact.

2. Not only do you dream to create more places to have your citizens killed, you wish to deprive lawful citizens and vistors the means of protecting themselves at home and about.

-Appalachian School of Law, Gun Free Zone- 3 Dead, 3 Wounded

This was stopped by lawful and responsible firearm owners, who recovered weapons from their vehicle and subdued this shooter. There were multiple magazines recovered for the shooters gun so this could very well have been 16 dead. Instead a bad situation was contained and a shooter was stopped by armed citizens.

All of the legislation you are proposing is outside of your rights as governor of Virginia and the people of the great state of Virginia have granted you no such authority.

Virginia Constitution-

A well regulated Militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defence of a free State.

US Second Amendment-

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Shame on you for your attempts to trample on the rights of the people.
