Say NO to emergency gun ban and to denying reciprocity to other states.

I see little reason to stop law abiding citizens from having the right to carry a weapon while on business in a government building.  If only on- duty police all allowed to carry, they become the first target and then everyone else is unprotected and vulnerable.  If one passes the process to be granted a concealed carry permit,  he/she has been proven knowledgable about gun use and also should have a clean record and should be able to help in an emergency.

The lack of gun reciprocity to other states makes no sense. People from other states have been vetted by those states as safe to carry a weapon but if we ban them from using that right in Virginia, our citizens will likely be unable to carry in their states.  Again, it's only the criminals who will be carry weapons.
