The establishment of gun free zones in state buildings and property is an overreach of Executive authority based on political motivation.  Criminals do not obey these gun free zones, leaving law abiding citizens as targets in what essentially is a free kill zone.  This forces me into physical jeopardy for no valid reason or recourse to perform state business. 

Remove the "no guns" ban.  Do not extend it to CHP.  Respect the Second Amendment.
