Why This is Wrong

When a citizen receives their permit and begins to carry a firearm, something happens that makes your action here unnecessary. The realization that you are carrying something on your body, that has the power to take a life, makes a good citizen a great citizen. Now you cannot allow yourself to get into a conflict that could escalate into something more. Now you cannot drive in an unsafe manner...ever. Now you are more alert to possible dangers, and have an even greater respect for law enforcement. This is the mindset of every concealed carry permit holder, no matter what state they reside in. Please do not do this. If I am in dangerous situation where there is a criminal with a gun present, and a permit holder from another state is here visiting, I want that person to be able to intervene (legally) until the authorities arrive. I would be glad to talk to you about this in greater detail. Thank you for your valuable time.
