Opposition to carry ban in executive agency buildings

I want to take this oppurtunity to express my deep opposition to the current ban on the carrying of firearms in state executive agency buildings. Unless these premises are given full time armed security this ban will only make these buildings more appealing to people who wish to do harm as evidenced by the fact that mass casuality incidents almost always occur in areas with such a policy in place. By banning the lawful concealed carry of handguns in these areas you are prohibiting people who have been vetted from being able to protect themselves and others if the need arises and presenting an inviting target to criminals not only by insuring their success if they decide to attack one of these buildings but offering them a treasure trove of weapons that people are forced to leave in their vehicles. The fact that recent tragedies that have occured in places with policies like the one being implemented here only supports the fact that areas where people are denied the right to protect themselves are often the target of choice for those who wish to do harm and this policy will put people who have to use the services of these agencies at higher risk.
