This proposed regulation will have the opposite of the intended affect by playing into the hands of terrorists, violent criminals, and the criminally insane.  Why does the administration seek to render public sector - as well as many private sector employees and citizens defenseless against the very type of attacks we've seen over the last few months?  I am absolutely opposed to this executive action which seeks to simultaneously create both soft-targets and safe zone for criminals and terrorists.  Election year pandering is always regrettable.  Election year pandering at the expense of public safety is criminal.
