Gun ban

The proposed gun ban that I have been reading about is absurd. I, personally, do not agree with, nor have any tolerance for any further infringement upon my second amendment rights, or that of any other law abiding citizen. I fail to understand what part of the phrase, "shall not be infringed," so many politicians and lawmakers find so hard to understand. So many politicians push for further gun control and gun laws. Again, I fail to understand how anyone can think that placing further bans on any form of weapon is a good and justified idea. After almost every single shooting we always hear about politicians are going after the guns and promoting more "gun free zones". Unfortunately, what they blatantly disregard is the fact that the place where these shootings happen are typically already littered with "gun free zone" signs. The perpetrator is not held accountable for their actions, rather an inanimate object that cannot function without human manipulation. What good comes from banning guns? Why make the innocent defenseless? Do you really think criminals obey laws? Do you really think a criminal will pay attention to a sign? These people are criminals because they have a blatant disregard for the law and the well-being of the general public. Ask yourself those previous questions before making any form of decision dealing with my rights as a law-abiding citizen. We have seen historically where bans on firearms has turned into a disaster. I do not wish for that to happen in my country, let alone my state.
