Government does not grant us our rights:

You may have forgotten that the Constitution of the United States (and the state of Virginia), and the subsequent Bill of Rights, do not grant us, the People, our rights. It explicitly tells you, the governing body, what your role is and that you shall not infringe on the rights of the People. Certain rights are inalienable, as spelled out in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. You are in office to represent the will of the People. We will hold you accountable. Our, the People, days of sitting silent with our disappointment in our elected leaders are over. Gun Free Zones empower the wicked, and weaken the law abiding citizen. One day, someone will be harmed or killed in one of your Gun Free Zones, and they, or their family, should be able to personally sue you and your administration/staff for gross negligence and contribution to their harm.
