Article 1 Section 13 of the Virginia State Constitution specifically guarantees the populace the right to bear arms. For the Executive branch to unilaterally revoke an articulated right of the citizens of the state goes against the founding principles of Virginia. Furthermore, the Executive branch has not shown cause for the intrusion upon the law-abiding citizenry.
