Having the right to protect ones self equivalent to that of the government is a constitutional right.  This country has time after time stopped or deterred criminal acts  and acts of terror due to the fact that  Americans bear the right to protect themselves and are armed.  Attacking the mainland during WWII is a piece of history all will know as an example of an enemy who was stopped becuase of the fact Americans had guns in every home.  Terrorist organizations will welcome your efforts here Mr. Govenor and maybe that should be enough for you to recognize a foolish decision by you and your supporters.  It will be the Americans with guns you call upon when it all goes bad.
