Do not mandate the COVID vaccine in schools for staff or children. This decision should be left up to each individual person and family. If the vaccine works then the people who want it will be protected and the wants that do not, choose to take a personal risk. Very few children have died in Virginia…in line with the flu and we never mandated flu shots or made children wear masks to school. 

Also, unlike other childhood required vaccinations, COVID has a very high survival rate. 99.9% in children.
