I'm shocked to learn that the proposed ammendment is not already codified policy.  As a parent I strongly support and deeply respect my chidren's teachersand the critical role they play in their students lives.   It is critical that I can trust them to likewise respect my role as a parent, with the ultimate authority to determine how and when sexually explicit material is introduced to my child.  

The absence of this ammendment will severely erode trust between parents and teachers.
