parents should be able to remove minors from objectionable material

Parents should receive adequate warning of sensitive material, and should be able to remove minors from objectionable material.

Alternative assignments must be reasonable, about the same amount of work, and must not punative in nature.

There is no excuse for requiring minors to read pornographic material when there are so many excellent books.

Any material that won't make it through the firewall of the Virginia Board of Education should not be included any classroom.
