I do not support this amendment

As both an educator and a parent, I support parental involvement and feedback.  I agree that parents should know what materials are being taught in their child’s classroom.  In fact, I’ve observed that teachers and their classes are more transparent now than ever since grades, homework assignments, lesson plans, and classroom resources are all available to parents online.  Parents are able to access as much information about their child’s class as they’d like.

However, I am concerned about the term sensitive as it is being used in this amendment. How do we define sensitive?  This term is too subjective to be included in any legislation regarding education.  Please trust teachers and their professional judgment, and do not pass this regulation.
