As teachers and districts, we notify parents of all sensitive material used in the class and if this passes, our world goes under more scrutiny. This is the wrong implementation of a state's influence on education. Want more info in what is being read in the class? Call the school....talk to the teacher...ask for an alternative book...teachers and administrators have degrees (and many are patents too), allow them to do their job.
